Interview with singer/songwriter Ashton D. Rose

Dylan Ashton Chestnut who goes by the artist name Ashton D. Rose is a talented singer, rapper and songwriter. We are sharing our recent interview with him.

Twist Online : First of all tell us about the start of your music career.
Ashton D. Rose :
Growing up I was always big into music. But for my dream and career definitely when I heard America by Mac Miller and that really influenced me and told me i knew what I wanted to be and whom I wanted to be. Express through music

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Ashton D. Rose :
Malcolm McCormick; He was a huge influence in my dreams. Rip to him. That was a big impact when he passed as I was just going through a long relationship break up. As well as the feeling i get from the music itself.

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release ‘Okay With The End’?
Ashton D. Rose :
Okay with the end I recorded in a la studio fresh out of a relationship, finally stating im okay with the end. And I hope it helps other people know its okay to be okay with the end.

Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Ashton D. Rose :
feedback is a blessing, always is. Helps me get better and better. And keep bringing what I love to do.

Twist Online : What attracts you more, Working in studios or performing on stage?
Ashton D. Rose :
Both, the feeling in either or is the feeling u get when you have a chill up your spine thinking about that one thing you love the most

Twist Online : What’s the best part of being a music artist?
Ashton D. Rose :
Expression, I dont let many people in my life. No one knows me for me and I feel like my music can really help with that.

Twist Online : Have you set any goals to achieve?
Ashton D. Rose :
Everyday I want to get better & better; Keep growing and growing but main goal is everyone knows who Ashton Rose.

Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
Ashton D. Rose :
Currently no. No selected projected, just writing and recording. When it feels like its time for an official project. Ill know
