Today on our Hot Seat we have a talented artist ‘Jerrod Brosean’. Lets have a chat with him.
Twist Online : First of all introduce yourself to our readers.
Jerrod Brosean : My name is Jerrod Brosean and I’m officially checking in like ya boyfriend. I’m a singer/songwriter from Magee, MS. I believe in hard work and honesty. And I’m in love with exchanging creative ideas.
Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Jerrod Brosean : I’ve always felt like I belonged in this space. But one of my biggest influences was Michael Jackson and Powerline (A Goofy Movie)
Twist Online : Tell us about your solo album “Boyfriend Material”?
Jerrod Brosean : This album is built on uncomfortable honesty, pure heart ache, and heavy culture. I took what I’ve experience the last few years and turned it into melodies. I’m proud of it and can’t wait to be judged for my actions.
Twist Online : What kind of response you are expecting from the album?
Jerrod Brosean : I’m looking for people to compare this to a RecognitioN album. I know the public are wondering if I can carry a career without Sivad added his impact to the music. But I’m ready for what may come.
Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
Jerrod Brosean : There’s no comparison, being on stage is the greatest feeling in the world. The level of energy and ability to control other people moods, there are no words that have been created for that feeling.
Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Jerrod Brosean : I love RnB. I recently was introduced to Bachata and it too is becoming one of my favorites.
Twist Online : What are your main achievements so far?
Jerrod Brosean : I’m actually on a journey of building a brand new catalogue of music. Recently, I have made a few reality tv show appearances. As of now, I’ve placed four records that will get national exposure this year. I’m nominated for a small award as a New Artist on SNT MAG.
Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
Jerrod Brosean : Not right now, I’m mainly focused on my project. Once this is finished, I can open up the creativity for other avenues.
