Miala with us. Let’s have a chat with her.
Twist Online: First of all please introduce yourself to our readers.
Miala: My name is Miala.
Twist Online: Who or what inspired you to get into the music industry?
Miala: It’s just always has been something I’ve done, my mother was a
singer. I did and won school talent shows. I grew up singing in the church
and, it’s just always been a part of me.
Twist Online: Tell us about your recent release?
Miala: I recorded this song in Hollywood, California. It was actually my very first time in Hollywood when I recorded the song I had no idea what I wanted to do for a video. Then I seen some art on the Instagram explore
page that inspired me, and I went from there. FNF is actually the very
first video I’ve ever had done, even though I had other music, and videos
it was the first one. I’ve been holding onto it just waiting for the right
time to drop it because I knew it was so different. I’m so excited about
it, a guy in Australia did it for me by the name of Jason, and he really
just exceeded my expectations after I told him what I wanted and he gave me everything down to the details.
Twist Online: What kind of response it has received so far?
Miala: Everyone loves it, telling me it’s their favorite one, it’s super
different and unexpected. Very creative. I love it.*
Twist Online: What’s the biggest achievement in your career so far?
Miala: Hmmm I would just say really seeing my visions come to life in my
music videos after spending so much time in the studio with writers and
producers trying to get the perfect lyrics and sound. Then trying to
perfect the audio. Anytime you complete a song, and then your able to get a visual done it’s an accomplishment every time
Twist Online: What’s the best part of being a music artist?
Miala: I think the best part is that you constantly see yourself growing,
vocally, and creatively within your craft. Then you realize the
possibilities are endless as to what you can create music wise.
Twist Online: Have you set some goals to achieve?
Miala: To never stop doing music , if I stop or give up I failed.
Twist Online: Are you working on any new project?
Miala: Yes right now getting 5 more videos done to music that I have
finished.
