Bberlay is a self made independent artist who is quickly building up her reputation as the “Brassiest of the brassiest”. Followed by un-average girls gangs; Bberlay emits the type of swagger you can feel. Without trying she’s setting trends and creating influential lifestyle banger that reveal what it’s like to be a kid growing up in the Lower East Side, NYC.
We are sharing our recent interview with Bberlay.
Twist Online : First of all tell us about the start of your professional career?
Bberlay : This year (top of 2017) is when I first debuted my first track – Brassy.
Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Bberlay : I’ve always been interested in the music industry and got into it right after high school. I went from being a theatre major to dropping out of school to dj and intern at a music publishing company.
Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release Big bank ft. TT the artist ?
Bberlay : Big Bank is an anthem for anyone that has their money right. Especially for females and #bossbabes. There’s a lot of men in the industry and this track is to remind everyone that women have a place in the industry too.
Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Bberlay : So far it’s been amazing! Big Bank has been featured on Billboard and in less than one week has nearly 5000 views.
Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
Bberlay : There’s nothing like a live show.
Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Bberlay : I like to listen to electro, bangers, pop-stuff with hard bass.
Twist Online : Have you set some target to achieve as a music artist?
Bberlay : I’d love to work with Nik Nicotene & Gary Richards
Twist Online : Are you currently working on any other project?
Bberlay : I’m working on releasing an EP by the end of the year and a few singles in between.
