PhourthEye : I dropped my official first mixtape Summer of 2017. A PhourthEye in Cognac’s World. A collab trap tape with Cognac Nigo.
Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into the music industry?
PhourthEye : I’ve been a musician my whole life. I started playing drums when I was 5. I started band in 3rd grade on the saxophone. All the way through high school in every band, I now play 8 instruments. My Father got me started on real hip hop very early. Artist like Big E, Cannibus, Pac, Bone Thugs and so much more. He also used to produce, then he became a hip hop radio personality. Music and hip hop have always been a huge part of my life. But honestly, I only rap because I couldn’t sing when I was younger.
Twist Online : Our readers would like to know more about your music group “CognacVizion”?
PhourthEye : CognacVizion is a rap group consisting of myself and my cousin, Cognac Nigo. We have been rapping together for over a decade.
Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release?
PhourthEye : My most recent release is “Death of An Adolescent”. I used to call myself Adlhscent until I really got serious about rapping. So that tape was about me growing musically and showing a different more diverse musical style than what I offered in “A PhourthEye in Cognac’s World”.
Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
PhourthEye : My social media following and Sound cloud have jumped dramatically. My Twitter went from 500 to 2k in like 2 months after I dropped my first tape. From the second I found a manager, got booked for two shows and more to come, and have even gotten on the radio. Most people who have heard the releases love the diversity between the two but enjoy them equally.
Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
PhourthEye : I wanna make music, that’s all that my music career is about. Making music and sharing it with the world . The studio is where I create my art.
