Interview with young and talented Taylor McCants

We are sharing our conversation with young and talented music artist Taylor McCants.

Twist Online : First of all tell us about the start of your professional career?
Taylor McCants : My first “professional” job was one my mom turned down for me to experience performing in front of an audience. I loved it and I never stopped.

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Taylor McCants : My mom of course and my Grandad.. Also artist who use their voice as an instrument like Keke Wyatt, Le’Andria Johnson, Brandy, Lauryn Hill, India Arie, Jazmine Sullivan, the list goes on

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release ” Forever Your Shawty “?
Taylor McCants : In Forever your Shawty I’m telling him that he can always call on me. It’s about friendship, love and mostly loyalty.

Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Taylor McCants : The reception is dope from my fans I love them. Looking at 1 million + YouTube views is crazy. Spotify has about 500 k, Tidal has about 200 k and growing. Its an amazing feeling and I’m grateful.

Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
Taylor McCants : Definitely performing. When people react or get hype I feel it on stage. That adrenaline makes me go harder. I love it!

Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Taylor McCants : R&B for sure, that’s my lane.

Twist Online : Have you set some target to achieve as a music artist?
Taylor McCants : My goal is to continue making quality music people vibe to.

Twist Online : Are you currently working on any other project?
Taylor McCants : I’m working on a tour for 2019, I’m really excited. Keep checking for Taylor McCants.
