
Jose R. Duque releases a new album JORODU
Drummer & Composer JOSE ROMAN DUQUE has recently released an album titled JORODU.
Drummer/Composer Jose R. Duque is a graduate of Berklee College of Music. Jose has always set up to establish himself as the most innovative and versatile musician wherever he sets up residence. Now living in Miami this Venezuelan musician has positioned himself as the go to guy in a variety of styles, such as Jazz, R&B, Latin, Rock,World Music and Pop.
Jose is also a member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (the GRAMMY’s) He has recorded on the album by Colin Edwin(Bassist of Porcupine Tree) and Jon Durant’s band, BURNT BELIEF.

Jose also recently recorded the debut album of Emigdio & La SUPERPOWER, a super funky pop band by the original keyboardist of DESORDEN PUBLICO.
Jose divides his time between teaching drums at CENTER TONE MUSIC SCHOOL in Key Biscayne, FL and at the Guitar Center Studios in Coconut Creek, FL as well as his private studio teachings. Jose has also authored an instructional book that contains beginners, intermediate lessons, and interviews with famous musicians regarding the role of the drummer
Jose keeps performing live with the EMIGDIO+SUPERPOWER, JAZZILIAN PROJECT (with maestro Jose Gallegos and Dr. Ed Calle) The Camel Toe Band, The Randy Armstrong Group, Jonathan Auerbach Trio, and Yvette Norwood-Tiger
Jose also has written the score for two films of independent release in Spain in 2012 and 2013. Has composed, produced and release independently eleven Albums.
Jose is also the author of “the Drummer’s role” a total beginner’s drum method available at Amazon.
