JT-Martinez talks about his love and passion for music
Today on out Hot Seat we have a relatively new but talented artist JT-Martinez with us. Let’s have a chat with him.
Twist Online : First of all introduce yourself to our readers?
JT-Martinez : My name is Juwan Thomas known as “JT-Martinez”
Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
JT-Martinez : The culture of hip-hop inspired me to work with music production and rap music. Later, I was introduced to Martin Garrix, he inspired me to create EDM music. I recently started making music once I was introduced to a music production class my senior year of high school. I started off making remixes for school assignments then started to make my own music. I love EDM and Hip-hop and I have a small team that I work with. I hope to be successful and improve the quality of my work, hoping I can pay my way through school. I recently released two E.P. and a single looking to build a fan base and network.
Twist Online : Tell us about your recent releases?
JT-Martinez : Within 2 months I released 2 albums, “Brick City Vibes” and “The Witches Sabbath”
Twist Online : What kind of response you have received ?
JT-Martinez : My fan base is slowly increasing, I’m hoping with the right attitude and proper advertisement, I can get the exposure that I’ve been working all my life for.
Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
JT-Martinez : I really enjoy working in studios, but lately performing on stage has caught my eye after working with my team on a lot of Hip-Hop and rap songs.
Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
JT-Martinez : Hip-Hop and EDM
Twist Online : Have you set some target to achieve as a music artist?
JT-Martinez : I want to improve my production and network with people to make better projects.
Twist Online : Are you currently working on any other project?
JT-Martinez : I am currently working with my friends/team on a project, hoping to drop a single soon, and by new years, an album.
