K-Tron talks about his recent release Tattooed Handz

Twist Online : First of all tell us about the start of your music career.
K-Tron :
As early as I can remember I use to sing in the church choir at New Garden of Prayer #4. But singing in the choir is nothing like what I use to hear in my house. My house use to be filled with all different genres of music gospel, rhythm and blues, even a little country. My mom and I use to dance around the house to those oldie but goodies. But I can remember hearing Honey Love in 1992 and from that point on I was in Love with R&B.

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
K-Tron :
Music has always been in my blood. My uncle Moses, who is now deceased use to sing with Four Below Zero. My grandmother even did a little background vocals. But man you can’t be a lover of R&B and not be inspired by R. Kelly, truthfully he is why I got started.

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release Tattooed Handz ?
K-Tron :
My most recent release Tattooed Handz embodies who I am as an artist. It’s smooth, groovy, and edgy. Tattooed Handz will have you singing and dancing and wanting to tattoo your hands on her body. But in the most respectful way.

Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
K-Tron :
The excitement from this release has been remarkable. My social media is buzzing, my phone is ringing, the support is amazing. I even had some people pull up to my house. I went live on Facebook and the feedback was crazy.

Twist Online : What attracts you more, Working in studios or performing on stage?
K-Tron :
I’m a artist. I give it all my best. When I’m in the studio, it’s me and my thoughts I lay it all on the track. When I’m on stage it’s me and my audience and I engage them with a conversation of love, sex, relationships, and healing. I give it all I got!

Twist Online : What’s the best part of being a recording artist?
K-Tron :
The best part about being a recording artist is that you can create music that the world can dance to. Music is a healer of the soul and I respect musics power to change and heal. I love being a part of that process.

Twist Online : Have you set any goals to achieve?
K-Tron :
The distribution deal that I signed with Charlton Family Entertainment LLC was a goal that I achieved at the end of last year. With the world kind of coming to a slight stand still due to Covid-19 it’s a little hard to knock out some of my other goals. I was looking forward to putting on a tour, especially along the east coast.

Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
K-Tron :
I have another single that I’m hoping to release before the end of summer maybe early fall. This single will show you another side of K’TRON. Be on the look out for Hey Friend and much more.
