Let Meet Young and Talented Artist Miss Lyric
Today in our interview section we will be interviewing a young and talented singer and songwriter Miss Lyric. Lets have a chat with him
Twist Online : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers.
Miss Lyric : Hi everybody! I’m Miss Lyric.
Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Miss Lyric : What inspired me to get into the music industry was solely just my love for singing and performing. I grew up on Hip-Hop and R&B and pop music. My mother would play her records all around the house while she was cleaning and cooking. As a young girl, I would love listening to the music in the stereo in my house. It was fun for me, so at that point I knew music was my everything.
Twist Online : What’s the story behind your name “Miss Lyric”?
Miss Lyric : I call myself Miss Lyric because I am all about the music and the lyrics. I love the messages told through songs. For instance, my favorite songs by Michael Jackson are “Man In The Mirror” and “Dirty Diana” and you will never understand the song until you pay attention to what he is trying to say. I want to one day do that with my music.
Twist Online : Arabella (Lovely and Elegant) was your first single. What kind of response you have received ?
Miss Lyric : I have received a really great response. Thousands of people have seen the music video and listened to the song. My family from all over reached out to me over Facebook and said that they loved the song. My fans who follow me and have been there since the beginning love the song. It was special and I wrote it from the heart, so to get that response from the fans was absolutely amazing.
Twist Online : You recently released second single of your upcoming EP entitled “Apologize”. Tell us about that?
Miss Lyric : “Apologize” is actually the first song I released off of my EP “Never Too Deep”. It is about having love and respect for someone but wanting them to apologize for all the hurt they have put you through. I feel like people will enjoy listening to this track because it is very relatable and true to the heart. I do live streams on Live. Me almost every day and so far I am getting a good response.
Twist Online : When are the remaining tracks of the EP expected to be released?
Miss Lyric : Very soon. I am excited about what I have coming up. Everyone can expect more tracks by no later than late July- beginning of August.
Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
Miss Lyric : I love both which makes it very hard to choose, but I would say performing on stage definitely. I love seeing everyone face light up in the crowd. It makes everything worth it. It’s the most exciting thing in the world.
Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Miss Lyric : I love all genres each in a different way, but my favorite genres are hip-hop and r&b. Those will forever be with me. Jazz comes in pretty close as well.
