Let’s meet a multi-talented artist AZARI

We are sharing our recent interview with AZARI, an American independent singer, songwriter, rapper, producer, and photographer.

Twist Online : First of all tell us about the start of your professional career?
AZARI : Of course! I grew up on the east coast but later moved to West Hollywood, CA to further my music career. I was heavily influenced by multiple genres of music that I often listened before I started to make my own music.

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
AZARI : I was initially inspired to get into the music industry around 2004 after listening to N.E.R.D.’s second studio album “Fly or Die”. I thought the fusion of ideas and genres would be a fun and interesting challenge to try myself.

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release “Boy”?
AZARI : My recent release “Boy” is a multi-genre song about the difficulties one experiences when a significant other is intimidated by one’s social standing and how people can struggle with anxiety and other emotions during a relationship. The song sounds like a soundtrack worthy rock and trap fusion, but with unique and clever r&b lyrics that complete the overall track. This song is also written by the great Willow Smith.

Twist Online : What kind of response have received from the release?

Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
AZARI : I love listening to Trip Hop, Trap, Drum & Bass, UKG/Garage, Top 40, R&B, Neo-Soul, and Rock.

Twist Online : Have you set some target to achieve as a music artist?
AZARI : I would be honored to be included among other talented artists from all corners of the music industry and be recognized as not only unique, but what the music industry has been missing.

Twist Online : Are you currently working on any other project?
AZARI : I’m currently working on my debut album “Paradise” which I have been working on for a couple years now to perfect. The sound of the album is extremely diverse and kaleidoscopic, blurring the lines between the warmth and feel of the old school, and t
