Let’s Meet A Talented Rapper “DeLott”

We recently interviewed a very talented rapper from Little Rock, AR. His recently released Album “The Outcasted Paradox ” is going really nice. And that’s our conversation with him.

Twist Online : Please introduce yourself to the readers and how and when did you first get into Rapping?
DeLott : I am DeLott a 19 year old rapper from little Rock, AR I first started rapping when I was 16 I was just free styling then, but last summer I started writing and I’ve been taking it serious ever since.

Twist Online : You wrote poetry during your college days. What topic you used to write on?
DeLott : I wrote poetry more so in high school, but the topics I wrote about most were equality and love, those topics I can elaborate on all day.

Twist Online : You recently released your debut Album “The Outcasted Paradox (T.O.P.), tell us about that.
DeLott : Yes I released my first album in July, and it was kind of a surprise. I got the opportunity to make this project in April so I brained storm real quick. I was going to drop a mixtape called Dude Violent City, and I used the concept of that mixtape to make my album. I’m from a very violent city where it is hard to make it out of, and it’s basically about my journey of making it out of my city and beating the odds. I also try to lift the younger generation with the second half of my album

Twist Online : All the songs in the Album are superb. Any particular song that’s your favorite ?
DeLott : My top 3 songs on the album are Hol’On Lil Lott I shoot my debut music t0 that song and it’s my theme song. ButI also like one Lifer and Navydais, I really enjoyed making those songs the most.

Twist Online : You are signed to the independent label Lahiyecia Records, what kind of experience you are having with them?
DeLott :  I’m having a great experience with my label Lahiyecia Records, big s/o them, with me being the only artist under the label right now, I got all of their focus and they really strive to make sure everything is the way I want to be and I get a lot of freedom which I feel is important.

Twist Online : Are you inspired of anyone in the music industry?
DeLott :  It’s a couple of artist that inspire me in the industry right now, in my age group Lil Uzi Vert & G Herbo inspire me, then from the older artist, J Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Drake and Kanye inspire me. Also Lil Snupe inspired me a lot coming up, RIP to him.

Twist Online : Are you working on any other project?
DeLott : Right now I’m working on a surprise EP I won’t release the name of right now, but I plan on dropping sometime in September. Then my next big project I’m working on is Mixtape I’m going to call Reloaded, because it’s going to be a new charged up me and I’m dropping that as a gift in December. Those are two projects I’m focused on right now.
