JayyTheKidd : Well, ever since I was a kid something about music always stood out to me, a lot of artist influenced me like 2pac,Notorious B.I.G, XXXTentacion,J.cole,Kurt Cobain and many many more, I listen to rap,Pop,Rock,R&B and many more and I just learned to incorporate all those genres into my style

Twist Online : Tell us about your recently released EP ‘Where They are Angels,There Are Devils’?
JayyTheKidd : Well The EP is a project that I’ve been working on quite for sometime actually, I me and my friends spent thorough time picking the precise beats we wanted to use so it really took some time because ei wanted to give the project my all and show the listeners what we as underground artist are capable of doing. when I wrote these songs everything came to me so naturally because you learn to embrace you inner feelings and turn them into art themselves,

Twist Online : What kind of response it has received so far?
JayyTheKidd : My team and I think the EP was a success I believe all the tracks have hit at least 200k on my Soundcloud with 300 or more repost and still growing, I personally think I  will continue to grow because I like to cater to all audiences in the music world, I literally write whatever the hell I want to and what I feel in that moment. But from stats on Soundcloud I assume people fucking with it

Twist Online : All the songs are superb. Any particular track that’s your favorite?
JayyTheKidd : I appreciate it much love, But my personal favorite track off the EP would be Yin&Yang because whenever I listen to it it tends to hype me up and get stuck in my head it was crazy when I recorded that track. real shit so much shit was going through my head when I recorded the track, I listened to it over and over and I was like damn I’m actually fucking with this.

Twist Online : What do you enjoy more performing on stage or working in studios?
JayyTheKidd : I actually haven’t got the chance to perform on stage yet, my team and I have looked into being booked for small gigs but as of now nothing regarding gigs has been officially confirmed, so can’t really say which one I would prefer but as of now studio is fucking crazy me and some friends just fuck around just have a good time overall

JayyTheKidd : Yeah I actually had the whole label thing set into motion 2 years and have been trying to build it up ever since, how I planned everything to go is like this, me and other underground artist I work with like Ayete,Chronicle,Regal,Ayray etc we are all going get producers, promoters and underground artist that I  really consider good to join because the whole point of this label is give people the chance to actually get out there and be able to chase their dreams and give people a chance to expose and unlock the hidden potential that they have in them to succeed in this world, we got so much in store for that so just stay tuned

Twist Online : Have you set some goals to achieve as a music artist?
JayyTheKidd : Yes actually my goals are to get underground artist the proper exposure that they deserve for their talent, Tear the barriers of music and show people why I’m different from all the other artist you hear now, and continue on building the label up one step at a time

Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
JayyTheKidd : As of now I am not working on a new project, the next stuff to drop will be singles and eventually build up to another EP possibly but as of now I’m not working on a new project, but things could change I’m writing stuff 24/7 and I drop tracks pretty frequently so we just have to wait and see.
