Lets Meet An Up and Coming Artist ‘Amir Higher’

We recently interviewed Amir Higher, a very talented, hardworking and passionate music artist. He recently released his music video I Am Ready (Ft. EVS).  We had a conversation with him about his life and music.

Twist Online : First of all tell us about the start of your professional Career?
Amir Higher : During high school I was performing in school ceremonies, After I finished high school my friend and I was upset about not having a “reason” to play music any more so we decided to meet once a week and play for fun. On the first meeting I decided that we might try to write something.. and the rest is history.

Twist Online : You were into the music from a very early age.Was there any inspiration or influence behind this?
Amir Higher : Inspiration in age 5 when I started to play the piano.. I don’t know, but the first song that I composed in the age of 10, was inspired by MTV, which was my favorite channel..

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release “I Am Ready (Ft. EVS) “?
Amir Higher : After many original songs I recorded, after cover songs the I recorded and was played on the radio, and after 2 songs the were placed in a film, THIS song is the first that is exactly the genre I was trying to aim for, even when I wasn’t really aware for this during my previous recordings. This is the first time that I deliver “pure” pop with pure melody with no distractions from any co-worker/ producer, and I’m very happy with it. Also, this is the first time that I feel that I bring my whole personality to the song and video. I also found myself dancing in the music video.

Twist Online : Is there any story behind your artist name ‘Amir Higher’?
Amir Higher : Yes. That was a nick name that I had during high school due to my hight 6 feet and 5 inches, but except for the physical reasons Higher stands for my aim in music in particular and in life in general.

Twist Online : Are you inspired by someone in the music industry?
Amir Higher : Yes of course. David Guetta, Sia, and Lady gaga are only few examples for inspiration.

Twist Online : What is your favorite music genre?
Amir Higher : Pop / Dance / Electronic of course which is my genre too [:slightly_smiling_face:]

Twist Online : Looking back to your career one can see you are a hard worker. From where you get the motivation??
Amir Higher : I play and sing since I remember myself, before I knew how to write. music is like an air for me, without making it I find it hard to live.

Twist Online : What are your future goals as a music artist?
Amir Higher : Get as much people as possible to know my music.

Twist Online : How much active you are on social media ? What’s the best way to follow you?
Amir Higher : I am active, Facebook I guess , now I’m also on Twitter and Instagram.
