
Let’s Meet Hip-Hop Artist ‘Hero’
Today on our Hot Seat we have Hero, a Boston boy who is in love with Old school Hip Hop and his music reflects that. Lets have a chat with him.
Twist Online: First of all tell us about the start of your professional career?
Hero: Well, it’s where every Hip-Hop Artist starts off, being a fan. You really have to be the embodiment of hip hop to be good at the craft. It takes time, Dedication, and an understanding of the art form.
Twist Online: Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Hero: Just seeing the other Hip hop legends drop knowledge that I relate to. It’s crazy to be so inspired by people you go and do the same thing and preach the same message.
Twist Online: Tell us about your recent release?
Hero: My Latest release was titled “Roxbury”, its 20 track tape that I spent my heart and soul on. I made it in such a way were I want the Listeners to hear it and think “This is what Boston Hip hop is, and it’s pretty Dope”. It’s a much needed old-school throwback.
Twist Online: What kind of response you have received from the release?
Hero: Hip hop has a wide variety of fans and subcategories, the People who love Meaningful lyrics and old school beat, love my stuff. My music is not for everyone, But I make it for the ones who appreciate music.
Twist Online: What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
Hero: Working in My studio. being on stage is fun, and a wild ride to see the crowd love your music and sing along, but being in my own world and creating what I love, is my place to be.
Twist Online: What’s your favorite music genre?
Hero: I Love hip-hop, but I still spin my usher records.
Twist Online: Have you set some target to achieve as a music artist?
Hero: Just stay the same and don’t sell out. Stay true to what you love
Twist Online: Are you currently working on any other project?
Hero: My Next project is titled “Mission Hill”. It’s a tape where the music is just the music, but in between is a superhero origin story based on my childhood.
I’m trying to make my own Marvel TV show in my, which I like to think is super cool.
