Stealth interview

Let’s meet Stealth, a talented artist and highly skilled audio engineer

We are sharing our recent interview with  Chris Davis, a 19 year old unsigned artist and audio engineer, from Wilmington Delaware who goes by the name of ‘Stealth‘. He has been making music since last 7 years. His recent releases are getting so much appreciation and views.

Twist Online : First of all tell us about the start of your professional career?
Stealth : Music played apart in my life since I was 12. I started rapping with my older brother making Facebook freestyle videos. At this time I was in band playing the trombone and also in men’s choir at my old middle school. Once I transferred schools I started talking rapping more seriously. I did my first performance at my new school’s talent show. That was the first time I realized being a artist is what I wanted to be. After that I went to William Penn HS, where I gained friends that had the same interests in music as me. We eventually started a rap group called “Squad Of Villains(SOV)”. I put out my first single in 2016 “When You Poppin” on SoundCloud and in the first 1 month it had three thousand plays. This really surprised me since I’ve never been to an official studio. I’ve been engineering all my music myself till this present day. I started to slow gain exposure in my home state Delaware, and then more supporters I gained the more I strive to be a better artist.

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Stealth : Personally my older brother inspired me to become a rapper because I never really got to see my dad, so my brother was like my pops. So I always wanted to be like my brother and rapping was one of his favorite things to do. Now a mainstream artist that made me want to get into the music industry was J.Cole best he was and still one of the most realist, diverse, poetic lyricist in the music industry. His music inspired me to take my music and use it as an outlet to speak my mind and express myself.

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release?
Stealth : I have recently released multiple videos on YouTube. In the last 3 months I’ve shot 7 music videos. My most popular music video right now is “Stealth Ft. KinG Davi$ -Lose It (Dir. @HouseVisionz)” it’s currently at 30k views on YouTube.

Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Stealth : I’ve released a lot of possible feedback from my current releases. My fan base has been expanding and I’ve been able to gain exposure in different states and even other countries.

Twist Online :You have also been featured in The SuperVillain – When I Wanna. How was your experience?
Stealth : That experience was great! We actually recorded the song in my garage on my laptop. At first we didn’t really everything planned out for the video, but then we just put our heads together and came up with a plan and allowed our cameraman to do his magic.

Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Stealth : Hip hop

Twist Online : Have you set some target to achieve as a music artist?
Stealth : At this point I just want to be the best artist I can be. One day create my own music label and school of arts that supports all types of talents that have to do with music and entertainment.

Twist Online : Are you currently working on any other project?
Stealth : I’m currently working on multiple music videos and my upcoming mixtape “StealthMode” which will be my first project where I will have no features.
