Today on our Hot seat we have IMAJ, a talented singer, songwriter and music composer. Let’s have a chat with him.

Twist Online : First of all tell us about the start of your professional career?
IMAJ : Professionally after signing with RSVP Lifestyle we locked in and created a masterpiece in a week. Right after, we shot the Visual for the first single “Something Real” in White Sands New Mexico which officially launched my career.

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
IMAJ : My family inspired me overall. My grandfather inspired me to produce. He gave me my first keyboard at the age of 7.

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release ” Tell Me”?
IMAJ : Tell Me was inspired by Ginuwine. I remember studying his records while getting ready to step out to have a good time. I came back home and combined the club vibe with my studies and it was a done deal.

Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
IMAJ : The record is getting a really good response from the consumers and the Dj world as well. Streams are also doing well.

Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
IMAJ : I would have to say the studio. Working with other creative people is always a blast.

Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
IMAJ : RnB and Hip Hop

Twist Online : Have you set some target to achieve as a music artist?
IMAJ : A few years down the line my target is for me to know that I’ve done my part in helping the world become a better place to live by using the gifts God gave me.

Twist Online : Are you currently working on any other project?
IMAJ : Yes i am. We haven’t put out an official date. But you can expect a EP at the top of the summer.
