Listening to unique blend of music by Dream Metal band ‘Blue Midnight’
We recently got an opportunity of listening to the melodious and inspiring music from a recently released album “Eternal Wish”. It’s the first album of of a Los Angeles, CA based Dream Metal band ‘Blue Midnight’. Before going towards our review of the Album, let’s know a bit about the band.
The band was founded by lead singer & songwriter, Justine. Even though she is a fan of traditional rock music, but when she formed Blue Midnight, she wanted to create a band that featured both heavy elements and light/classical/orchestral elements. So this band is actually a combination of two different sounds and that’s what makes it different and interesting.

And in case you are curious about the band being called the “Dream Metal” band, then you should listen to their music and you will get the answer. As the band is a combination of unique blend of sound having two guitarists playing along the sound of drum, bass and violin, you will a feel different kind of music that will surely take you into the dream world.
The Band members include Justine Glaser (lead vocals), Todd McCool (rhythm guitar), Mike Hill (bass), Matt Hornbeck (lead guitar), Edgar Sandoval (violin) and David Allen (drums).
Now coming back to the album, you can hardly guess it’s their first album. Vocals, lyrics, composition, production, almost everything is in perfection. Even though all the tracks have been done exceptionally well but a couple of tracks took our attentions in particular. The Nightshade is one of them, the song starts with a melodious and engaging tone. You will feel compelled to listen to the track. The singer has a dynamic and inspiring voice and it has a strong vocal projection.
Acid Rain is the other one. The track is simply done and not overly complex. The chorus is impressive, the pitch range varies, making it rich and engaging. The song definitely is professional and creative. Taking the album overall, we find it extremely good and this band has successfully proved their talent and the music, lyrics and production everything has been done exceptionally well throughout the album. Overall its a fun listening to the music and I am sure you would put it to repeat mode.
All that means this band has a bright future ahead. You must check them out.
