LoudBoyCooley talks about his love & passion for music

Today on our Hot Seat we have hip hop artist LoudBoyCooley with us. Let’s have a chat with him.

Twist Online : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers.
LoudBoyCooley :
Well hello all, I’m LoudBoyCooley, Hip Hop and RnB artist coming out of the Dmv area. If you haven’t heard yet you will soon enough. I represent Yns Family and The Young N Successful Label and we here to show y’all a difference in the music scene locally and abroad!!

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
LoudBoyCooley :
Man I would definitely say family and and the DC music culture. I started off playing instruments very young and DC is known for Gogo, so I mean at age 13 14, I was in bands, had 6 -7 instruments, recording and doing live shows. So the music and the passion for it was always in me. Been djing since 11 12, so you know music is in me. Just comes naturally!

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release Money Dreams?
LoudBoyCooley :
Yea man “Money Dreams” is one of my favorite tracks off of the “Loud Life” project. I wanted people to hear and see my vision for this music. I wanted the people to know where LoudBoyCooley comes from and what I do it for. We all have dreams of being successful and etc, but my dreams is to help inspire the world, the kids, the hard times and the struggle through my music. Music is one of the fastest way to reach and influence people i just wanna add my positive street vibe into this industry where I personally think its oversaturated with negativity, confusion and violence.

Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release
LoudBoyCooley :
The feedback I have received has been interesting honestly. I know it’s not the current speed, tempo, nor style for the club or the regular turn up! But I’m more a mental rapper I wanna get into your head and thoughts. I’ve never been scared to be different! But with that said I’ve got a better reaction from people then what I expected! They really grasp to the concept of what me and Chelly are talking about and they can tell this is real, you know coming from the heart and when your genuine people will always feel that. So it’s a slow progression but definitely capturing the attention of my targeted demographic! I’m happy so far! Very happy!

Twist Online : How was the experience working with Dc Native Chelly the Mc in this single?
LoudBoyCooley :
Well with this track my team and I had 2 to 3 different features in mind for the track. You know, I wanted someone else who was gonna match the same concept without compromising the message or undertone of the song. We went with Chelly and she delivered. My goal is to bring the real or bring that element to the studio where they know LoudBoy is on to something, you can hear and feel the message. I definitely will say she is “Unique to work With” to say the least!

Twist Online : What’s the best part of being a music artist?
LoudBoyCooley :
Best part of being a musician is actually doing and composing something that can last a lifetime and have a timeless affect on people. I love music this is something I’d do with no benefit from it. Music is a cure for my soul and its troubles, so I love every bit of it. I just try to use my platform and my following to show the people there more to the music scene then, violence, sex and drug usage.

Twist Online : Have you set some goals to achieve?
LoudBoyCooley :
Definitely, and they are slowly being checked off the list. Not clout chasing nor pulling any stunts or gimmicks. I’m at a good place with my music and who I am as an individual, and as this music scene changes and belive me it is changing my spotlight will shine at the right time. But the buzz we created is surpassing what we envisioned so still very happy with what we have already achieved.

Twist Online : So when we will be expecting the release of your upcoming mixtape “Loud Life” ?
LoudBoyCooley :
Me and the Yns Family are going over dates and quarterly release dates but still not set in stone. I wanna say more so in the spring, early spring but we still have some things in the works, but soon definitely soon. I’m excited for this project to be released but we aiming for perfection and not mediocrity!

Feel free to follow me everywhere @Loudboycooley. Hope to talk to you all soon upon my release. Blessings!
