Meet the multi-talented Jason Achilles Mezilis
We recently interviewed a talented Jason Achilles Mezilis. He has been attached with music since his early age. Now he is winning the hearts of his fans with his music.
Twist Online : Please introduce yourself to the readers and how and when did you first get into music profession?
Jason Achilles Mezilis : My name is Jason Achilles Mezilis, I first studied classical piano at the age of 7 years old. I chose music as a profession at age 17, and four years later received a Bachelor’s in Music from UC Berkeley. Since then it’s been music all the way.
Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into this profession?
Jason Achilles Mezilis : Women. Music is a great way to impress pretty girls.
Twist Online : Tell us about your recently released Album “Comedown”?
Jason Achilles Mezilis : “Comedown” is an all-instrumental album release that came out this July. I am very proud of it, and it sounds fantastic! Everyone should own at least two copies.
Twist Online : Your Album got nice tracks. It must be having good response?
Jason Achilles Mezilis : Thank you. Yes it does. People seem to really enjoy it. I’m very happy.
Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Jason Achilles Mezilis : Rock n Roll.
Twist Online : Do you love playing The Piano Bar in Hollywood? As it seems to become your routine when you are in town.
Jason Achilles Mezilis : I do love playing there, but sadly the Piano Bar just closed down, recently. Our fun times there are over now…hopefully something new will pop up. We’ll see. Or else there will just be many sad musicians in Hollywood.
Twist Online : What’s your routine when you are not working on your own music?
Jason Achilles Mezilis : Working on other people’s music! It’s pretty much all that I do, with exception of one or two other things, but I’m not going to tell you…
Twist Online : Our readers would love to know about your comic collection?
Jason Achilles Mezilis : I bet they would! But they can’t have them. It’s a great collection…a lot of crap, of course, but a lot of gems as well. I need to go through and catalogue it all, again. It’s been a while.
Twist Online : Are you working on any other new project? when it will be released?
Jason Achilles Mezilis : I am indeed, working on a few things in fact. No release dates yet…for now it’s all about the tour supporting the new record all over the country this fall / winter! Tell your friends, and hide the sheep…
