Multi-talented Cloudy Wingz talks about his Life and passion for music

Today on our Hot Seat we have  multi-talented Cloudy Wingz. Lets have a chat with him.

Twist Online : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers.
Cloudy Wingz : Hey what’s going on guys? My name is Cloudy Wingz. I’m a Haitian-American recording artist, songwriter, and entrepreneur

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Cloudy Wingz : Well musics always been apart of my life and I always dreamt about being a musical artist, but when you’re young and dumb you tend to lose focus quickly. My older brother Abdiah definitely played a big part in making me want to pursue the industry. I didn’t realize I could rap until he pointed it out to me.

Twist Online: Your childhood and teenage life was a tough one. What kind of effect or influence it has on your music?
Cloudy Wingz : It was a rough one but honestly I’m thankful I had it so tough. I learned a lot of life lessons along the way and it has taught me to appreciate the little things in life a lot more, but I think that’s what gives me the capability to be so versatile when making music. It’s not hard for me to tell my story or bring out pain and hardships and turn them into great music.

Twist Online : Tell us about your recently released track “Clap” ?
Cloudy Wingz : Umm this track is more like a “club banger”. Something people can turn up to, dance to etc, but it also is a truthful track about some things I went through while running the streets doing dirt and selling drugs. On the second verse I rap briefly about an incident where some people tried to rob me for my jewelry, my cash, and a half kilo of heroine. True story.

Twist Online : We also came across another beautiful track you released last year “Everywhere I Go”. What’s the inspiration behind this track?
Cloudy Wingz : Well i remember when I was in the county jail fighting for my life I would pray to God that he send the woman of my dreams to me if I ever made it out of there. When I finally got released it was like nothing changed. Every girl I met turned out to be all wrong, until one day I met a girl who made me want to be a better man and stay out of trouble

Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
Cloudy Wingz : Actually both. I love all this music stuff no matter what it is, but when performing onstage I get a rush a sort of high that just can’t be explained. I really put my all into my shows. I like to interact with the crowd. Sometimes I tell jokes sometimes I talk to them I just love performing. I actually have a show in Killeen, Texas July 22nd. Hopefully my Probation officer will let me go perform.

Hopefully my Probation officer will let me go perform. It seems like the probation office here in Albuquerque, where I’m stuck at, tries to bring people down and make lives harder instead of helping them transition and grow from negative situations. Recording in the studio is always like therapy or counseling for me. I can tell the mic all my anger, my stress, my visions, and it listens without judging me

Twist Online : What led you into launching your own record label “Organized Royalty” ?
Cloudy Wingz : I’ve always been intrigued by entrepreneurship and got my first taste of it when I was 21 and opened my first business. After that all I wanted to do was be a boss. I don’t take orders well and I’ve never kept a job longer than two weeks. It’s the entrepreneurs and the dreamers turned doers who aren’t scared to take risks in order to become someone special.. they are the ones out there living how they want to live. Also I think I have a great ear for talent and wanted the opportunity to be able to make young, up and coming artists dreams come true.

Twist Online : After getting through the ups and downs of life what goal you have set for your future life now?
Cloudy Wingz : I just want to be wealthy, successful, and genuinely happy. I just want to be comfortable. I want to open more businesses. I want to make more loyal friends and loyal fans. The goal is to keep progressing.

Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
Cloudy Wingz : Yes. A lot of new things in the making with the woman who owns the label I’m signed to. Her name is Dynasty Holland, and we’ve been inking deals with a lot of major companies, corporations, and venues. I will have a 38 city tour coming up here in the near future, but I’m always looking to work with new artists. And as far as music I’m always writing and always looking for new studios to record at and better beats to record on. There will definitely be a lot of new music soon.

Twist Online : Anything else you would like to share with our readers and your fans?
Cloudy Wingz : The concert I’m headlining on July 22nd in Killeen Texas will be a huge event. I want to invite anyone and everyone to come out and turn up with me and the rest of my team. It’s called “Above All Concerts”. You can buy tickets online. There will also be a signing event where independent artists can perform for me for a chance to get signed to me. And to all my dreamers and go getters:
Just do it. No excuses. No hesitation. No doubt. Believe in yourself and just do it. Sincerely,Cloudy Wingz
