Music Artist L.A.G talks about his love for music and inspirations

Born in Los Angeles, California, Isaac King (L.A.G) was raised around the area of Hollywood, his consistent love for music and writing has been a very heavy motivator for the entirety of his life, and as of 3-4 years ago, he has decided to make a career out of it. It also was one of his primary motivations in his obtaining of a Bachelor’s in Creative Writing, and Music. He has recently released a single, “Don’t Call ” . We are sharing our recent interview with him.

Twist Online : First of all tell us about the start of your professional career?
L.A.G : A lot of failure, following college I was lost about where I wanted to go and what I wanted to do, and I believed that I could make a career out of music with my creative writing, so I went for it!

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
L.A.G : One of my best friends continued to push me about taking this seriously, and once I did, I used people like Drake, Childish Gambino, and Chance the Rapper as inspiration.

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release “Don’t Call Me”?
L.A.G : ” Don’t Call Me is my statement for the industry. It’s my first humongous step following my recent signing and it’s my breakout song for all of those who don’t know me.

Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
L.A.G : It’s been blogged about, spoken on, and several of my fans and friends make the claim that it’s “the best song ever”

Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
L.A.G : Studios are great, but there’s nothing like the thrill of being on stage and live in front of your fans! It’s adrenaline pumping thrill !

Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
L.A.G : Overall, pop

Twist Online : Have you set some target to achieve as a music artist?
L.A.G : I want to reach a billion people before 2019 and that many more afterwards. I’d also like a feature with Childish Gambino

Twist Online : Are you currently working on any other project?
L.A.G : My debut album under a label, “Carlton”
