Mute Davinci talks about his love and passion for music
Patrick Nelson, also known as “Mute Davinci” is from Chattanooga, Tennessee. He brings elements from multiple genres to incorporate into his music, even some elements that have not been heard in this new wave of hip-hop for years. He is very passionate about making his music as relatable as possible to any listener, whether they are struggling with the day to day battles brought on by street life, they just lost a girlfriend, or even just want to have a good time and step out on the town. He has been featured on multiple news channels such as FOX, NBC, ABC, Telemundo, and hundreds more, even some overseas. His song Family has amassed over 40,000 streams alone, just on YouTube’s platform, Face The Facts (Prod. Cozmo) has amassed over 6,000, again, just on YouTube’s platform.
So we are sharing our recent interview with him
Twist Online : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers.
Mute Davinci : My name is Mute Davinci, from Chattanooga, Tennessee
Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Mute Davinci : My mom had a big influence, really my dad did too but my mom was connected to FAME recording studio way back in the day and they definitley both brought a lot of different music into my life. I used to write thoughts and stuff down after I got into a few things at school growing up. Eventually, thoughts turned into lyrics, sold ofr a profit, after that when my homie passed away I had to keep the dream alive.
Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release?
Mute Davinci : Which one, I haven’t stopped dropping songs since the first thing I dropped on all platforms, I think it was the last day in April? I got that Face The Facts out, produced by Cozmo. Family, which has earned a major following on YouTube, “Remember Me?” keeps getting dropped off in playlists on Spotify, the new “Suicide” EP just dropped, with two older songs on it, just remastered. What I Know, Pain, Freestyle, No Pen dropped today, Pain actually dropped today too, Real dropped yesterday, I’ve been working my guy.
Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from critics and fans?
Mute Davinci : It’s been all love, from fans all over the world. You already know there’s the one little group of people hating on what I’m doing but that happens in any musicians life, I don’t really entertain all of that negativity they try and throw my way.

Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Mute Davinci : Hip-Hop/Rap/R&B, which at some times I feel like is all one in the same.
Twist Online : What’s the best part of being a music artist?
Mute Davinci : For me, I’m a little different than most. My favorite part is the creation of the song, mixing it, writing it, recording it, the whole process just relaxes me but gets me stupid hyped at the same time.
Twist Online : Have you set some goals to achieve?
Mute Davinci : Of course, I just want to take over the world like everyone out here grinding bro, that’s it.
Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
Mute Davinci : Always, I have enough content to keep dropping a song everyday for the next year. Will I do that, probably not because it wouldn’t be that smart of a marketing plan, but just know there’s always something in the works or about ready to drop.
