
Ombrage talks about his passion and love for music
We are sharing our recent interview with music artist Ombrage.
Twist Online: First of all please introduce yourself to our readers.
Ombrage: My name is Wanel Philostin aka Ombrage. I was born in Haiti and I currently reside in Brooklyn New York.
Twist Online: Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Ombrage: My inspiration came from the late great Michael Jackson and Usher Raymond. They are both really great singers and performers.
Twist Online: Tell us about your recent release?
Ombrage: My recent release Can You Do The Serena is a catchy new song and dance inspired by the tennis star. The dance involves an individual or a group moving their arms as if they are playing tennis. Also, they can put their own spin on how they move their legs.
Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Ombrage: Well, I received a lot of positive feedback because it’s a catchy song. Also, a lot of people wanted to know more about the Serena dance moves. Now, they are looking forward to the music video release.
Twist Online: What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in the studio
Ombrage: Actually, both because I enjoy creating in the studio and the response I get from my fans once they hear my material.
Twist Online: Tell us about your collaboration with Peter?
Ombrage: Peter and I work well together as a team because we understand each other. We communicate in order to achieve our goals.
Twist Online: Have you set some goals to achieve?
Ombrage: Yes of course! LoI! I have many, but my main goal is to become the next big star out of Brooklyn.
Twist Online: Are you working on any new projects?
Ombrage: Yes. My team and I are currently working on my next project. Stay tuned.
