Pryce talks about his debut EP ‘ Dear Hater’
Sharing with our readers our recent conversation with Pryce, a young artist who loves everything about the music and he is very passionate about his work.
Twist Online : Please introduce yourself to our readers.
Pryce : What’s goin on ? I’m Pryce. The youngin outta Dayton, OH. “The Gem City” I’m turning 24 here in March. I’m a King Third Boss!
Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Pryce : The initial push was from my nephew Kayo. He just had a different perspective on the music and we all just got to working. We built our own studio and the rest is history. We been at it for about 10 years and with the feedback we’ve been getting we have no choice but to bless the world with our blessings.
Twist Online : Tell us about your Debut EP ‘Dear Hater ”?
Pryce : Dear Hater was really a rushed projected. My brother Suave was giving me hell because I worked all 2016 but didn’t release anything . So I called him a hater and told him I was gone drop in a week. Its my first solo tape. It’s crazy because something rushed actually produced my single.
Twist Online : What kind of response it has received so far?
Pryce : I’ve got nothing but love off the tape. I’ve got placed on a couple blog sites, my YouTube views went up, and SoundCloud plays have went sky high. For my first project I’m proud of myself and the fans love it as well. I dropped it a week ago and the project has already hit 50K plays on SoundCloud.
Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
Pryce : For me, I honestly couldn’t pick one over the other. I love this music shit. So it’s all fun to me. It’s almost like practice vs the game. I love practice because it gets me ready for the game. Making the song in the studio is amazing but I also love the reaction from the crowd you share when you perform it live .
Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Pryce : My favorite genre of music is rap but if I could sing I would do R&B
Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
Pryce : Yes actually I am working on a few projects. My left hand man Purrcy and I are actually working a joint tape entitled “Tommy Twinz” coming this March. I’m working on another joint tape with Major out of Invader Gang. Then personally I got two tapes coming out this year . I got another EP entitled “Gold Assassin” and my debut mixtape “The Pryce is Right”.
