Today on our Hot Seat we have music artist Stacks with us. Let’s have a chat with him.
Twist Online : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers.
Stacks : My name is Stacks..from Newark New Jersey. I’m the CEO of Stacks Empire Music Ring as well as an artist.
Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Stacks : My inspirations were NWA, The Geto Boys, Public Enemy & 2Pac. You can sort of hear them in my music.
Twist Online : Tell us about your recently released album ‘This Is More Than Music’ ?
Stacks : The album This Is More Than Music is a somewhat dark & personal journey of the things I go through in my everyday life.
Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Stacks : The album has gotten a lot of positive feedback. People really seem to appreciate the lyrics.
Twist Online : What attracts you more, Working in studios or performing on stage?
Stacks : I prefer the recording process. Going to the studio is like a second home to me. I love the creative freedom which comes with recording.
Twist Online : Have you set some goals to achieve?
Stacks : My plans are to stay independent & hopefully obtain some sort of national distraction deal to spread my music worldwide.
Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
Stacks : I have two more albums lined up. I have an album called You Broke Love which will feature Jay-Z, Lil Wayne & a host of others..this will drop early January 2020. I will release a third album later that year titled Detox. I’m still putting the finishing touches on it.
