Where’s Myloh?
After the release of a 26-minute sequel song “strictly 4 the art” and his collaboration with awesome singer Victoria silk called “loving you comes easy” Myloh Remora has disappeared from the music scene. Finally, we were able to find him out and we are sharing our recent interview with him.
Twist Online : First of all tell us about the start of your music career.
Myloh Remora : I’ve literally always been an artist! There’s never been a point in my life were making music and being creative was not at the forefront. It became an obsession in 2005 though. That’s, when I started to write instead of, doing classwork. It only got more magnified during 2008-10,that’s when I was pumping out 7-8 songs a day.
Twist Online : Our readers would like to know about your collaboration with Victoria Silk?
Myloh Remora: I met Victoria through another personal friend Mxuntitled at a high school open mic last year. She and I have been close friends ever since. We almost immediately collaborated (Loving Comes Easy) she is probably the coolest person I know! Super friendly and enthusiastic about all things music. She also recorded, engineered, and sang backgrounds on my entire next project. She is a great artist and a future legend.
Twist Online : Any particular reason behind a three months break from music?
Myloh Remora : Self sabotage…I have this weird thing where I think everyone hates me. It Maybe because of the up and down life as a retail worker.Emotions were just heavy for me. I didn’t take the proper time to grieve my grandfather nor take time to learn about Alex.My friend Alex “Allnamestkn” Crawford said it was because I burnt out.I needed time to just sit with me and my thoughts. People fail to realize how hard this career path is and most musicians are depressed. It kinda comes with the territory.
Twist Online : Tell us about your recently released tape “Pretty ugly” ?
Myloh Remora : it’s not out yet actually but it basically sums up the prior Twist Online. This is a very special passion project for me.Its something I needed to get off my chest in order to move forward in life. Its about the imperfections of being human. The natural process of growth.I barely rap on it,it’s mostly melodic. It speaks to my soul and has made me a much better person.Id describe it as an alternative, experimental, lofi, rnb grief tape.I hope everyone can pull something from it.
Twist Online : Any particular track from the tape that’s your favorite?
Myloh Remora : it’s a toss up between “PAIN!” and “Jonesin” they both speak to me.One is pure passion and the other one is for my ex which whom I wasn’t the most loving to,she’s a great freakin person and I wanted to give her something special.
Twist Online : What attracts you more, Working in studios or performing on stage?
Myloh Remora : easily the studio! The studio is the most exciting part about being a musician. Its where you get to let your guard down and just be an artist. The least amount of time that I’m on my phone or stressed out is when I’m recording material.I love being on stage but the funniest part about that is interacting before and after my performance.I love people! I love energy! I love to hug! And be loud and random! It’s always a gratifying experience.

Twist Online : What kind of effect COVID-19 had on you? It must be very depressing.
Myloh Remora :so during my hiatus I was trying to figure why I was so damn depressed.Only to realize it’s because we can’t do shows like we used to.Cant go to the fullest extent. Its crippling to think that everything is online.I am so much more of human to human interaction kind of guy.Im never gonna be able to accept it but I cannot wait until this is all over and I’m a go hard from this point rob beyond that point.
Twist Online : Are you working on other any new project?
Myloh Remora : (laughs) Yes! We got Pretty Ugly, grief tape,My bands album “Yesternite” with Ha-Foo,A collab tale with Santana Jae and Nate Nash,an ep with Samurai Guru(LA producer) and much much more.I create daily and record weekly,I am not complete without stuff going on.I have a need to be out and I’m a busy body.I allowed myself to take the needed break but I don’t wanna get to the point where I need another one.Its all about forwarding motion man,I’m young and I’m hungry…I’ll stop when I physically have to but until then,it’s on to the next
Twist Online : What kind of response you are expecting from the release?
Myloh Remora : usually my FRIENDBASE(not fanbase) is highly interactive when I release material. They essentially dictate everything. So it’s solely dependent upon them but based off of the reception I’ve gotten of my promo run.People seem excited! There’s no way the tape can fail though because I needed to release this energy and content from my chest.I needed to allow this vulnerability to run free.I can’t wait until it’s out(September 2nd) so that people can know a truer me.
