Young Music Producer ‘Lsfuckingd’ talks about his Personal and Music Life

We recently interviewed a very talented and passionate young producer Lsfuckingd. Sharing our conversation with him here.

Twist Online : Please introduce yourself to our readers.
Lsfuckingd : I’m Learic, better known as Lsfuckingd or LSd. I’m a 15 year old producer out of The Bay Area, California. I produce a different style of trap music.

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry in your teenage?
Lsfuckingd : My dad was a big inspiration for me to start making music. He used to rap and produce a lot and has a lot of equipment at home that I would play with when I was like 11. He had hella beat machines and keyboards I would mess with. He used to play music like Purity Ring and MF Doom in the car all the time. I didn’t even know how fire it was at the time. Just having that type of music around me constantly made me the producer I am today. And shout out Flying Lotus and Suicideyear.

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release?
Lsfuckingd : I released my EP “Thank You 4 The Kindness” on New Years Eve. I made it during a very tough time in my life. Crazy time. Its basically a thank you to everyone that showed me love during this tough time. Its funny because I barely had a laptop to make it on. I love how it came out. Its some of my best work. I love listening to it.

Twist Online : Are you working on any new projects?
Lsfuckingd : Yeah, I’m working on another EP. I plan on dropping it on the worst day of the year, Valentine’s Day. I’m not sure what I’m gonna call it but its gonna be really special. I also got a lot of unreleased music with a lot of my bros. Theres way too many to name. Shout out all of them. I have a lot of stuff in the works. I just got in contact with my bro Ski Mask The Slump God and we got some heat coming soon. Be on the lookout.

Twist Online : What’s the best part of being a music producer? Lsfuckingd : My favorite part about being a producer is going to the studio and not knowing what I’m gonna make. The best stuff I’ve ever made has been on accident. Just throwing random sounds together and making something beautiful is what I live for. The creative process is crazy man. I love making music so much.

Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Lsfuckingd : I don’t really have a favorite genre. I listen to everything. Like its music it doesn’t really have to have a genre. But if I did have a primary genre it would be rap and trap. Really only Soundcloud and Spotify people. I listen to all my friends. They are so fire.

Twist Online : Have you set some goals to achieve as a music producer?
Lsfuckingd : Yeah, my goal in producing is to just start something new. I wanna start my own lane of music. Something fresh in this over saturated rap game. I don’t want it to have a genre. Music is music. I also want people who listen to my music to feel something when they’re listening. Whether its happiness, anger, sadness, or anything in between. I really love how music brings people together. Thats the ultimate goal. And to take care of everyone who has helped me in my life. I really wanna collaborate with Pharrell and do a long EP with my favorite producer Suicideyear.
