Twist Online: Please introduce yourself to our readers.
Young L da Lonegun : What it dew World?! It’s ya boy Young L da Lonegun of YA-YA! ENT. I am the CEO/Artist coming straight out of Texas
Twist Online: Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Young L da Lonegun : Growing up, I was always influenced by music, and of you ask my mother I was influenced in the womb. The main reason why I am devoted to my craft is because of my mother!
Twist Online: Tell us about your recent releases?
Young L da Lonegun : Well, I’ve had 2 projects drop in 2016. I dropped my solo 2nd edition of my mixtape series entitled Hustle & Grind (Hosted by DJ Flipcyide), as well as a compilation mixtape which is also a 2nd edition of our mixtape series entitled Family Ties 2 (Hosted by DJ King Flow). Both are available at DatPiff, as well as my website www.Youngldalonegun.com.
Twist Online: What kind of response it has received so far?
Young L da Lonegun : The responses have been great as my Solo project received over 20,000 downloads and Family Ties 2 has received over 10,000 downloads. If you ask me that’s ok, but I want to push more if that makes any sense.
Twist Online: What do you enjoy more performing on stage or working in studios?
Young L da Lonegun : Actually to be honest, I enjoy the whole process of artistry. What I enjoy most is networking and engaging with the fans! If the fans support me and the YA-YA! movement, then I’m going to continue and push my artistry. I enjoy the creation, the recording, the business paperwork, and everything in between.
Twist Online: Are you influenced by any particular music genre?
Young L da Lonegun : I’m influenced by ALL MUSIC, ARTISTS, AND GENRES FROM ALL WALKS OF LIFE!
Twist Online: Have you set some goals to achieve as a music artist?
Young L da Lonegun : Yes I have set some goals this past year; I received my LLC, I have landed 2 songs on Pandora, I have paid my taxes on my label, and have been invited to perform in Miami for Labor Day through Coast 2 Coast mixtapes. Still working though, the grind never stops!!!!!!
Twist Online: Are you working on any new project?
Young L da Lonegun : Hustle & Grind Vol 3 will be dropping in the 1st quarter, along with some more YA-YA! ENT. Projects which include Goo Badass’ The TakeOff, Blue Tex’s Notebook, and Family Ties 3 projects coming soon!
